    Indian Family Shattered By Deadly Shooting In US

    Mainank Patel, a 36-year-old Indian-origin man, was fatally shot during a robbery at his convenience store, Tobacco House, on Airport Road in North Carolina. The incident occurred on Tuesday when Patel was found with multiple gunshot wounds and later died at a local hospital.

    Surveillance footage revealed a young male suspect, dressed in black shorts, a hoodie, and a ski mask, fleeing the scene. The suspect, now in custody, was identified as a juvenile.

    Mainank Patel leaves behind his pregnant wife, Ami, who is seven months along, and their 5-year-old daughter.

    In response to this devastating loss, a fundraising campaign has been launched to support his family. The campaign seeks to raise $500,000 to cover funeral expenses, and medical costs, and provide ongoing support for Patel’s family.

    The fundraiser’s organizer described Patel as a man of warmth and kindness, cherished by all who knew him. The campaign aims to ease the financial burden on Patel’s family and help them navigate this difficult period.
