Kannada Superstar Upendra has a crazy cult following all over and his films, especially directorials have huge cult following. The actor started out as a writer-director and then became an actor. Now, he is back to directing a film after a decade gap with UI.
The crazy movie has huge anticipation and curiosity surrounding it. It is scheduled for a release on 20th December and the makers conducted a pre-release event in Hyderabad for Telugu version. Buchi Babu Sana, the director of Uppena and RC16, attended as special guest for the event.

Speaking at the event, he said, “I am a big fan of Upendra. I watched his A, Upendra and OM films many times. Even in his Uppi 2, he brought some innovative ideas into screenplay. I am anticipating a lot more like that in UI and we all are eagerly waiting for the film.”
Upendra talking at event stated that he is quite confident about the movie becoming a huge blockbuster. He remarked that he always trusted people to be much intelligent than him and they will easily decode his film, UI and all the layers. He thanked Parathasarathy and lyricist Rambabu for making Telugu version sound authentic and original.

Lahari Films are prestigiously producing the film. G. Manoharan and Sreekanth KP are the producers while Geetha Film Distribution are releasing it in Telugu States.
