In an old interview a few years ago, she opened up about her divorce from her now ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya. With extreme courage, she vulnerably talked about how she was at rock bottom and felt like dying. She further added that she is proud of herself for overcoming it. It takes immense courage to open up about something so personal like that, and we look up to her for that.
She went on to express how talking about her emotions helped her to accept them and move on. It was a challenge but in doing so, it helped her accept her reality and be more present. She looked back on the event and praised herself for being strong and fighting through it.

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya tied the knot back in 2017, but their marriage was cut short in 2021 when they announced a separation and divorce.
Cut to 2024, Naga Chaitanya is preparing to tie the knot once again, this time with actress Sobhita Dhulipala, on 4th December 2024. As the wedding date inches closer, the couple have started the festivities. They are set to exchange vows at the Annapurna Studios. The venue was built by Chaitanya’s grandfather, the late superstar Akkineni Nageswara Rao.

Meanwhile, after her hit Amazon Prime show Citadel: Honey Bunny with Varun Dhawan, Samantha has a new project in the making. Alongside Aditya Roy Kapoor, she is set to be a part of Rakt Bramand, an upcoming action fantasy about power politics and rivalry for the throne.
