She expressed a desire to disassociate from her biological father in every possible way. Now, a new assertion by Musk’s biographer, Walter Isaacson, in an excerpt from his book titled “Elon Musk,” published in The Wall Street Journal, suggests that Musk’s daughter informed her aunt about her gender transition but asked her not to her father about it. Since then, Musk adopted a strong anti-“woke” stance as a result of his child’s gender transition.

The excerpt from the book reveals that Musk’s then 16-year-old daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson told her aunt first about the gender transition.“Hey, I’m transgender, and my name is now Jenna.Don’t tell my dad,” she texted her aunt.

According to a book, Musk has called his daughter a “Communist” and believes she broke off her relationship with him because she was influenced by her school in California, which costs $50,000 per year. He thinks that the school brainwashed her into believing that anyone who is rich is a bad person.
Musk also mentioned that he partly blames the Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences for his daughter’s change in how she sees him. He said she moved from just believing in socialism to becoming a full-on communist and thinking that all wealthy people are evil. It’s important to note that Musk himself is very wealthy, with a personal fortune of $257.5 billion.

This isn’t the first time Musk has talked about “woke” schools and their influence on his daughter’s choices, but it’s the first time he has specifically named Crossroads as a factor.

Musk shared that the separation from his daughter has been an incredibly painful experience for him. He even said it’s the most painful thing he has gone through since the death of his first child, who passed away at just 10 weeks old due to sudden infant death syndrome.

However, it is not the schools or colleges that seem to have impacted Musk’s relationship with his daughter but his own doings. Musk has been extremely critical of the transgender people and poked fun at them on multiple occasions.

Musk has a history of making critical comments about transgender issues, including pronoun usage and gender-affirming surgery for minors. In 2020, he expressed support for transgender individuals but criticized the use of multiple pronouns. “I absolutely support trans, but all these pronouns are an esthetic nightmare,” he said. This year, he shared anti-trans content on Twitter under the name “X” and, during Pride Month, engaged with transphobic posts by liking them.
