The bomb blasts in Dilsukhnagar had shocked the country. The Telangana High Court has given a sensational judgement in the case today. The five accused will be hung to death.

The HC dismissed the petition of the accused and went ahead with the judgement. The jury comprising Laxman, Srisudha gave the ruling.
The blasts happened on February 21, 2013, in Dilsukhnagar. NIA (National Investigation Agency) had investigated the case for quite some time.

On December 13, 2016, the NIA court identified the five accused and said that they be hung. However, the accused challenged the decision and approached the High Court. After 45 days of hearings, the HC reserved the decision. Today, it finally gave its judgement.
Asadulla Akhtar from UP, Ur Rahman from Pakistan, Mohammed Tahsin Akhtar Haasan from Bihar, Mohammad Yasin Bhatkal, Amazon Sheikh Samar Armaan from Maharashtra are among the five accused.

However, prime accused Riyaaz Bhatkal is absconding. Another key accused in the blast, Syed Mukbal of Indian Mujahadeen died while in jail at Gandhi Hospital.
If one goes back, the first blast happened at Dilsukhnagar bus stop, killing 17 and injuring over 130. The second blast happened at mirchi center, 100 mts away. The bombs were placed in tiffin boxes on cycles. The two blasts happened six seconds apart.
Many survived the blasts and they formed Terrorist Bomb Blast Victims Association. They pay tributes to those who passed away in the blast at Konark Theater every year.
The families of those affected have expressed their happiness over the judgement.
