A man in Uttar Pradesh’s Sant Kabir Nagar district made headlines after he arranged the marriage of his wife, Radhika, to her lover. Bablu, who married Radhika in 2017, has two children with her, including a seven-year-old son and a two-year-old daughter.
Bablu, who frequently worked outside the village to support his family, eventually learned of his wife’s affair with a local man. Initially, he tried to convince her to stay, but she remained adamant about being with her lover.

Bablu then presented the situation before the village elders, asking Radhika to decide whether she wanted to stay with him or leave. She chose to be with her lover, showing no hesitation in leaving behind her children.
Accepting her decision, Bablu suggested that she officially marry the man she loved. In the presence of villagers, he performed the wedding rituals, handing over her hand to her lover.

Their union was sealed with a traditional garland exchange. Bablu took full responsibility for raising their children.

Radhika, a native of Gorakhpur’s Belghat area, left with her new husband, while Bablu remained with his children.
