Huge Relief for SRK Fans: Director Removed

Shah Rukh Khan fans can rejoice once more as news has started pouring in that director Siddharth Anand will direct the whole of SRK’s upcoming film ‘King’, scheduled to commence filming in March 2025.

King features SRK in the lead role, with another pivotal role being played by Suhana Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan playing the antagonist.

Produced by ‘Red Chillies Entertainment’, the film features action sequences shot all around the world with the trademark SRK magic.

A big section of fans were worried that a small-time director like Sujoy Ghosh would be unable to handle the grand star power of SRK, especially after delivering back-to-back blockbusters in the form of ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’.

Although he is a good director with some significant hits like ‘Kahaani’ and ‘Badla’, his inexperience in handling superstars like SRK created worry among fans.

On top of everything, the film’s shooting being delayed to 2025 acted as a catalyst, increasing many heartbeats owing to a massive 2.5-year gap with ‘Dunki’, released in December 2023.
