After delivering blockbusters like K.G.F. Chapter 2, Yash is all set to make a huge comeback with Toxic. The film has been in the headlines ever since it was announced and it is helmed by Geetu Mohandas.
However, Toxic has now landed itself in a little bit of trouble since Minister for Forest, Ecology, and Environment, Eshwar Khandre, has ordered the forest officials to take action against the makers, alleging that they have reportedly cut several trees in Bengaluru to build a big film set.

Khandre addressed the problem in a statement, saying that he had witnessed the damage through satellite images following which he went to visit the place. He claimed that the place where the trees were cut is in the control of HMT in Bengaluru.
Khandre also mentioned that there was no permission taken before cutting the trees and there have been claims that HMT previously leased certain portions of the land to different film production companies.

While further updates are currently awaited, it seems like Toxic will face a delay in case a legal action is taken. But at the same time, these kinds of problems help to increase the hype of a film. We have witnessed the same in the last 2-3 years with films like Brahmastra and Pathaan.
On the other hand, there is a complication too. Toxic is being made on a humongous budget of Rs. 300 crores and there is going to be a huge demand considering the reputation of Yash, especially among the Hindi audience.

In case the delays get longer, the amount of money invested will also expand and there might be a situation where the film would fail to recover everything. While many would say that this is impossible since the film features Yash, things could take a turn if the content is not up to the mark.
Apart from Yash, the film reportedly features Kiara Advani in an important role. Other reports claim that Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, and Shruti Haasan are also included among the cast members.
