Apple has announced the release of its latest iOS 18 developer beta operating system, which will have a stable release in the coming months after the launch of the upcoming iPhone 16 series. However, if you are eager to try this new beta OS update from Apple, there are some easy-to-follow steps to install it on your Apple smartphone.

iOS 18 public beta is expected to be available next month, but if you are registered on the Apple Developer website, you can download the iOS 18 developer beta now. However, this update will be filled with developer bugs and issues, and you should try installing it on a backup device, rather than on your daily driver.

Apple iOS 18 developer beta: How to install
Earlier, Apple users had to pay a fee of $100 per year to join as a developer in the Apple developer program. However, with the release of the iOS 17 developer beta last year, Apple allows you to download any developer betas for free with any Apple ID. Follow these steps to download the iOS 18 developer beta update.
Make sure to sign into Apple’s developer site with your account credentials.
Next, open Settings on your iPhone, and then go to the General section.
Now, tap on Software Update and then select Beta Updates.
The iOS 18 Developer Beta option will now be visible.

You can now choose to select Update Now to begin the updating process or select Update Later to download and install the update when your phone is inactive.
