Prior to the theatrical release of Devara, Jr NTR looked particularly confident about one particular bit in the film and this is the climax portion. He was seen hyping up the last 40-minute climax portion of the film multiple times in the interviews.
However, as it turned out, the climax portion was just a mediocre one and many sensed it coming from a mile away. The same is getting amplified big time again after the OTT debut of the film on Netflix a couple of days ago.

After having been in the commercial cinema space for decades and knowing the pulse of the masses, one can only wonder how NTR could get this judgment so horribly wrong.
Why did NTR hype up such a mid climax so much? Was he carried away, or was it an intentional play to hype up the film ahead of the release? We don’t quote know.

After the OTT debut of the film, the sequence where NTR brings the shark to the beach and also the climax portion are coming under the pump.
Needless to say, this will serve as feedback pointers for Koratala Siva while working on the sequel, if at all it happens in the first place.
