The India-Pakistan conflict is witnessing new developments every day and based on that, there is a possibility that the release dates of certain films might witness a change for this year.
While most of the production companies are yet to take a call, Maddock Films’ Bhool Chuk Maaf has already decided to arrive through Amazon Prime Video on May 16, 2025.

Two more films, Suswagatam Khushamadeed and Nikita Roy, are reportedly supposed to face a delay. Sooraj Pancholi and Suniel Shetty’s Kesari Veer has been already postponed by a week.
Moreover, Raid 2 is doing well at the box office despite problems between the two countries. The crime-thriller has already entered the third week and it remains to be seen if it can create new records on the second week.

Two big films, Housefull 5 and Sitaare Zameen Par, are scheduled to arrive next month. However, the producers of both films have not confirmed anything on whether they are planning to postpone from the scheduled release date.
On the other hand, a source has confirmed that filming for upcoming projects have not been paused so far. But the ongoing condition has led to a fear that it could lead to a bigger war.

Considering that India and Pakistan have agreed to ceasefire and are supposed to have a talk on May 12, 2025, situations might go back to normal. For now, cinema lovers can only pray for a good outcome in terms of the upcoming meeting. Let’s wait for more updates.
