Unmarried couples of this generation generally prefer going to Oyo hotels to spend some time together. However, the managements of these Oyo hotels are secretly recording the intimate moments of those couples and threatening them for money.
In the latest incident, it was found that an Oyo hotel owner in Shamshabad fixed hidden cameras in his rooms and recorded various intimate moments of multiple couples.

He has been accused of threatening multiple couples by showing them their videos. One of the victim couples complained to the police after being severely harassed by the hotel owner.
The police at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Police Station registered the case and started an investigation. They seized CCTV cameras that were secretly fixed in hotel rooms.

The cops have also seized a couple of mobile phones from the hotel owner. The accused has been identified as Ganesh from Ongole.
Already, people, especially families, often fear going to Oyo hotels due to privacy issues. Now, with incidents like these, they would be more afraid. They are requesting police officials to keep an eye on these hotels across the cities.
