The biggest and the most popular reality show in Telugu states, Bigg Boss Telugu, is gearing up for its eighth season. Once again, King Nagarjuna will be hosting the show. This is the sixth consecutive season to have Nag as the host.

Reportedly, the team of Bigg Boss shortlists around 100-150 applications for every season. This time, there were around 200 applications and 20 may make it to the final contestant list of the show.
The final list is not confirmed yet but it will be a mix of social media influencers, young and small heroes, news reporters and beauty pageants.

It is heard that the probable list is ready but the contracts still need to be signed. The contracts are expected to be signed very soon so that the final list will be made.
Several reports mentioned that popular astrologer Venu Swamy would be a part of this season. As per the inside info, he may not participate in the show.

We also hear that Nagarjuna will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in this season. The show is also expected to be designed in a new way to entertain the audience.
According to the grapevine, the new promo of Bigg Boss season 8 will be out in two to three days. The makers are planning to premiere the season on September 1. If there are any delays, it will premiere on September 8.
