KTR went on to say that democracy should not become mobocracy. Why should we let numbers decide our future. Why are we not able to believe the Union Minister who says delimitation will be pro-rata, he said capturing the mood of the meeting.
He also made it a point to include the name of his arch rival Revanth Reddy while talking about the leaders who spoke of the partiality of the union government, that got him brownie points from the netizens.

He forcefully put across his angst for southern states being sidelined by the union government and said that if southern states contribute 36% of GDP, then why not give us 36% representation in governance.
Though Telangana is 2.8% in terms of population, we contribute 5.2% of GDP. Federalism is not a gift but our right, said KTR quoting the Kerala CM.
If India has to become a superpower by 2047, then the union government must try to heal old wounds and not create new ones.
Union government has to act like a big brother and not big boss. We must have #cooperative federalism and not #coercive fedralism, KTR said ending his speech.
