CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government on Tuesday appointed Link Officers to ensure the smooth functioning of departments, boards, and corporations.
According to a letter issued in this regard by Chief Secretary Vivek Joshi, in the absence of the Chief executive officer of Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, the Chief executive officer of Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority will be Link Officer-I, the Divisional Commissioner of Gurugram will be Link Officer-II, and the Divisional Commissioner of Faridabad will be Link Officer-III.
In the absence of the Chief executive officer of Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority, the Chief executive officer of Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority will be Link Officer-I, the Divisional Commissioner of Faridabad will be Link Officer-II, and the Divisional Commissioner of Gurugram will be Link Officer-III.
If the Chief executive officer of Sonipat Metropolitan Development Authority is unavailable, the Chief executive officer of Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority will be Link Officer-I, the Divisional Commissioner of Rohtak will be Link Officer-II and the Divisional Commissioner of Karnal will be Link Officer-III.
In the absence of the Chief executive officer of Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority, the Chief executive officer of Sonipat Metropolitan Development Authority will be Link Officer-I, the Divisional Commissioner of Ambala will be Link Officer-II and the Divisional Commissioner of Karnal will be Link Officer-III.
In case of vacancy due to leave, training, tour, election duty, or absence of concerned officers for more than two days due to any other reason or due to retirement or transfer of the officer, the work of that department, board, or corporation will be looked after by the concerned link officer. The concerned officer will inform the link officer before going on leave, training, tour, or election duty.
