Nandamuri Balakrishna, who made his debut with the film ‘Tathamma Kala’, is completing 50 years as an actor. Balayya making his 108th film under the direction of Bobby. On the auspicious occasion of Balakrishna’s 50th birthday, the Telugu film industry is gearing up to celebrate his golden jubilee. A curtain raiser program was held at FNCC on Wednesday to reveal the details of the ceremony to be held on September 1. Both Nandamuri Ramakrishna and Nandamuri Mohanakrishna launched the poster of Golden Jubilee celebrations in this event which was attended by many celebrities.
Nandamuri Mohanakrishna said : “It is really a great thing that my younger brother Balakrishna has completed 50 years as an actor. He has proved himself as an actor who can do any role. Balakrishna stood in the industry as the successor of our Father continuing the legacy. Balakrishna is the successor of his father not only in acting but also in politics. He won the last election and achieved a hat trick. It has been proved that Hindupuram is the land of Nandamuris.

Producer Tammareddy Bharadwaja said : “Even after completing 50 years as an actor, Balakrishna continues to compete with young heroes. After Amitabh Bachchan, there is no other actor in Indian cinema who has completed as many years as Balakrishna. Even now Balayya walks like a common man since he went to school. He is very simple. When we both went to Goa once, he bought a tray of water bottles and carried them. That simple he is ever. Balayya is a producer’s man. He is my favorite actor. I am very happy to complete 50 years. He said that everyone should come and make this program a grand success.

Director YVS Chowdhary said, “In May 1974, I saw the movie Tatamma Kala in Gudivada. From there, 50 years flashed before our eyes and we have come this far, it seems like a dream. Then I was the son of a lorry driver. A fan of Rama Rao garu. After that, I feel fortunate to come to the industry and speak in front of you like this. Nandamuri Balakrishna was at home with his parents as well as his teacher. That is his luck. He seemed like a legacy carrier to his father in politics as well as movies. I want his 50-year celebration to be inspirational for all.”
Tummala Prasannakumar said : ”Nandamuri Balakrishna is the only hero who entered as a hero and is still a hat-trick hero, a hat-trick MLA and also serving people by the Basavatharakam Cancer Hospital. Balakrishna is the hero who created a record that no one can achieve in the future. Only Nandamuri family has done Rama and Krishna for four generations.
