Google Pixel smartphones are reportedly experiencing battery drainage and overheating concerns once more. Google previously rectified the issue with a software update, but consumers who updated their Pixel phones with the June update are experiencing the issues again.

This came after hundreds of users complained on a Reddit thread regarding Google’s battery drainage problem. Furthermore, consumers who have installed the June 2023 update have reported that their smartphones’ batteries are draining faster than usual.

A few Reddit users also highlighted that individuals who are impacted by the issue stated that their phones need to be charged many times per day. According to reports, Google Pixel phones have poor battery life. Reddit users also noted that the smartphones’ batteries were depleting faster than usual, even while the gadget was idle and not in use. Not only that, but the problem is causing phones to overheat, with the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series being the most afflicted.

Concerning the issue, reports indicate that not all users are experiencing problems, and some have even stated that their device’s battery has grown more efficient since receiving the June 2023 update.

The users are also reporting that they have been facing signal issues after they have updated their Pixel phones. Users reported that they have been facing problems while making or receiving calls.

At the time of writing, Google has made no formal announcements about the issues, but it is assumed that the firm will soon release remedies as part of the next version. Google always releases an update on the first Monday of each month, so the corporation may address the bugs with an update next week. However, Google delayed its June update by several weeks, and it is likely that the July update would be delayed as well.
