GOOGLE recently launched the Pixel 7a smartphone at I/O 2023, followed by the availability of the phone in India on Flipkart. While the phone packs a good specs sheet for the price, a user must check the durability of any handset before buying. To answer this, the famous YouTube channel – JerryRigEverything took the Pixel 7a for a durability test. And the results will surprise you.

    Google Pixel 7a Durability

The 7a has a plastic back panel. But the YouTuber adds it is better than glass that is prone to cracks. On the other hand, the bigger sibling – Pixel 7, has a premium glass back design.

Google Pixel 7a’s screen scratches at level 6, “with deeper grooves at level 7,” the Youtuber adds. The display gets Gorilla Glass 3 protection. During the torture, the volume and power buttons snaps apart from the body.

The frame is constructed out of metal that registers permanent scratches from the razor blade. In the burn test, the Pixel 7a lasts for 25 seconds before the screen goes white and recovers. Finally, in the bend test, the host adds the Pixel 7a has no noticeable flex and is built strong.

    Pixel 7a Price and Specifications
