Daniel Jones embodied the New York Giants‘ ongoing frustrations by having a meltdown on the field against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Late in the Monday Night Football showdown, the lack of urgency from Brian Daboll’s side was on full display as the Giants’ offense blew up a two-point conversion.
New York were at the doorstep of the end zone after their first touchdown in 24 drives. Jones threw the ball to wide receiver Malik Nabers, who was tackled by John Leglue before he could catch the pigskin.
After the failed conversion, Jones had an outburst on the field, as he began yelling toward his sideline and swinging his arms in frustration before ripping off his helmet.
Daboll was also seen screaming his cries after the blunder kept them from closing an eight-point deficit with 11 minutes to go.

The margin remained the same as the game ended with a score of 26-18, handing the Giants their third straight loss in their 2-6 season.
Jones completed 24 of his 38 attempts for 264 yards and an interception. Kicker Greg Joseph would be responsible for 12 of New York’s points while Tyrone Tracy Jr. rushed for their lone touchdown.
The Giants appeared to be within reach of a comeback before Jones was intercepted by Beanie Bishop Jr. with 34 seconds left, putting the game to bed.
With the loss, Jones is now 1-15 in primetime games – holding the worst win percentage in nationally televised games for any quarterback since 1970.

Kicker Chris Boswell also contributed 14 points after completing all four field goal attempts.
The win moved Pittsburgh to a 6-2 record as they gear up to face the Commanders on Nov. 10.
Washington will also face the Giants on Nov. 3 before taking on the Steelers.
