Gayatri Joshi Accident: FIRST Photo of Swades Actress, Vikas Oberoi After Horrifying Car Crash Goes Viral

The first photo after Shah Rukh Khan’s actress from Swades, Gayatri Joshi’s car accident has surfaced online. On Wednesday, Gayatri Joshi and her husband Vikas Oberoi narrowly escaped a car crash involving a Ferrari, a Lamborghini and a camper van occurred on a rural road in Sardinia, Italy. The accident killed two elderly couple. A video of the accident had gone viral. Now, a new photo allegedly from the car crash spot has surfaced online and it gives a closer look at the aftermath of the accident.

A photo has been shared by X (previously known as Twitter) account called ShTimes Social (@shtimes_social) from the accident sight. In the photo, a woman who appeared to be Gayatri was seated on the road while a few men stood next to her. The Italian police officials were also spotted at the spot. The blue Lamborghini which was involved in the car accident was also seen in the frame.

According to multiple media reports, the collision took place when a red Ferrari and a blue Lamborghini attempted to overtake the camper van at the same time, causing it to overturn. Tragically, the Ferrari caught fire, claiming the lives of the elderly couple inside, identified as Melissa Krautli, 63, and Markus Krautli, 67, from Switzerland, according to a report by Free Press Journal.

Gayatri confirmed the news of her accident to the publication. She added that she and her husband were doing “absolutely fine”. “Vikas and I are in Italy. We met with an accident here… With gods grace, we both are absolutely fine,” she was quoted by the portal.

As per a Daily Mail report, Gayatri Joshi’s husband Vikas Oberoi is being investigated in connection with the accident. The publication reported prosecutors in Sardinia’s Cagliari have opened an investigation into ‘double road homicide’.
