Gautam Menon Reveals His Tensions with Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth

Gautham Vasudev Menon has become the center of attention in Kollywood recently, following his controversial remarks about some of the industry’s top stars during interviews promoting his latest film, Dominic and the Ladies’ Purse.

In one such interview, GVM revealed that his long-delayed project Dhruva Natchathiram was initially narrated to Rajinikanth.

While the superstar reportedly liked the script and gave his approval in the morning, he later backed out by the evening, citing advice from someone. GVM added, “I know who spoke negatively about me to him, but I don’t want to reveal their name publicly.”

Additionally, GVM shared an incident from the making of Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. He recalled how Kamal Haasan became irritated when GVM tried to demonstrate how to act in a particular scene.

According to him, Kamal even complained to the producer, questioning how someone could teach him acting. GVM admitted, “After that, I never explained how to act in any scene, but Kamal Haasan still delivered his best performance in the film.”

These statements have sparked widespread reactions on social media. Many feel that GVM’s candid remarks indicate his frustration with the personalities of certain star actors. Others believe he may have unintentionally exposed the challenges of working with such high-profile individuals.
