Fortnite’s Most Wanted update has brought back Vaults, Keycards, Henchmen, Vault Bosses. Additionally, several classic Fortnite weapons like Dual Pistols, Heavy Sniper, and Hand Cannon, along with the likes of a new Exotic arsenal like the Breacher Shotgun, Explosive Red Eye Assault Rifle, and more were added.
With the event in play, players also have a chance to complete several quests tied to it in order to get free in-game cosmetics.
There are five stages in the Most Wanted questline that contain mini-challenges. Upon completing each one, players will be rewarded with Infamy, which will help them unlock the new cosmetics. The prizes contain everything from a back bling to a glider, ultimately leading to a Gold-Blooded Ace outfit.
To begin with, players can unlock the free Heist Flier umbrella in the game by completing a set of quests and claiming a Victory Royale. A recently discovered glitch by GKI obliterates the grind and can get you this glider in 10 seconds. Here’s how you can do it in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1.
How to get the Heist Flier umbrella in Fortnite using the Party Royale glitch
Based on a recently discovered Fortnite glitch by GKI, the Heist Flier umbrella can easily be redeemed by loopers without having to grind on the Most Wanted Quests or even winning a match during the event.
While the bug still works in-game, you can follow the steps below before it gets patched and you miss out on an opportunity to get a free reward:
1) Select Party Royale mode from your Lobby (No Fill)
To begin the glitch, select Party Royale game mode from the Change button right above the No Fill button on your playlist. Upon selecting that, make sure you have your lobbies set to No Fill as the glitch only works if you are in a private lobby. Press Play! to jump onto the Party Royale island.
2) Load onto Party Royale island and move around for a bit
Once you spawn on the Party Royale island, simply walk around for a maximum of 2-3 seconds and halt there. The glitch also works if you intend to stay longer and gain some XP while doing activities on the recreational map.
3) Return to lobby
Now all you need to do is open your sidebar and click on the Exit button at the extreme bottom of the icons on the left-hand side. Click “Return to Lobby” and press Yes when it prompts you to leave the match. Upon doing so, you will get a loading screen hinting that you have successfully exited the Fortnite game mode.
4) Claim your Heist Flier umbrella
As soon as you load back into the lobby, you will receive a reward screen where you will be able to claim the Heist Flier umbrella for free. This is a great workaround method for those who do not wish to grind the Most Wanted quests and would rather get these rewards as quickly as possible.
Currently, the Most Wanted menu also allows players to purchase Infamy using V-Bucks to unlock the prizes tied to the Fortnite event early.
Fortnite update v23.40 dropped earlier this week and brought a series of quests and challenges for players to complete in exchange for some lucrative XP as well as free cosmetic rewards. Alongside it, a few new exotic weapons were added to the game and some were unvaulted.
As the season was slowly progressing closer to loopers, helping Stellan build the Rift Gate, Fortnite decided to turn things on its head and bring an entirely new event to the game. It will last until the end of the month and has made life on the island exciting once again.
