Since adding ‘My Hero Academia’ to Netflix‘s production, it has lent its characters to the popular game ‘Fortnite’. It is the latest animé series after ‘Dragon Ball’ and ‘Naruto’ to join Fortnite. The lead characters like Izuku Midoriya (also known as Deku), All Might and Katsuki Bakugo have their skins as part of the ‘My Hero Academia’ set. They include cosmetics too.

A special power was added to the game also, which lets the players perform Deku’s signature move known as the Smash attack movement. But for some reason, it is no longer available.

On December 21, Fortnite Status‘s official Twitter account posted that the move had been removed due to some issue.

Speculation about the removal of Deku’s powerful move from Fortnite.

Although Fortnite has not revealed the actual reason for the removal of the move, players have assumed that it is because the attack is too powerful.

The Smash attack leaves the opponent with no health and no shield in one clean shot. Moreover, this attack has no countermove.
Kamehameha, a move of “Dragon Ball”, also faced similar complaints when it was added as part of the game, but it was not removed.
