The musical promotions of both Devara and Game Changer had commenced with the arrival of Fear Song and Jaragandi respectively. Though neither of the songs opened to unanimous reviews, it must be said that NTR is ahead of the race.

Fear Song, though minorly criticized immediately after arrival caught on well and it started to find its place in playlists. It has the X value for repeat hearings which has always been the case with Anirudh’s songs.
On the other hand, Game Changer’s Jaragandi is nowhere to be seen which is a rather concerning sign.

After perhaps a week from its arrival, Jaragandi is nowhere to be seen on social media, music charts, or on the now-famous Instagram reels. It is like the song hasn’t even arrived yet, considering the weak buzz surrounding it.
On the other hand, the second song from Devara is arriving today and it is billed to be a melody. If it can strike a chord unanimously, it could well work the trick for Devara.

Going by the posters thus far, Janhvi Kapoor has put on a glam feast in the same. This could strike a chord with the section of the audience which will again help the film ultimately. The onus is on Anirudh to deliver a chartbuster melody which is something he hadn’t done as effectively till now, at least in Telugu.
Going by the reception thus far, Devara’s musical work is ahead of Game Changer’s musical work.
