    Five army soldiers swept away in Ladakh flash floods during tank exercise | India News


    NEW DELHI: Five army soldiers were on early Saturday swept away in eastern Ladakh flash floods, according to a statement by defence officials.
    Authorities recovered one body as a T-72 tank, manned by a crew consisting of a junior commissioned officer (JCO) and four other ranks, sank due to sudden surge in water levels. The search continues for the remaining four soldiers in the Daulat Beg Oldie and Nyoma-Chushul region near Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China.
