Chhaava’s buzz was at tremendous height with its first look and teaser reveal. But in recent times with trailer and music launch many controversies have surrounded it.
The hype has faded a bit and fans feel that it might not work well outside Maharashtra. Many film pundits stated that if it performs well in its initial run it might work out well due to its original script.

The film certainly has potential and Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna have shown strong presence in teasers. But the 20-30 crore opening doesn’t seem like a reality to many.
Some claim, like Tanahji, it can work wonders because of its Maratha leader’s historical representation. However, sources state that the makers are trying to externally boost the film by unethical buying of tickets.

If that is the case it is not a great thing, a film should be allowed to perform on its own potential and results shouldn’t be manipulated. Credibility of Bollywood is dwindling because of such practices, fans hope that this is not true and the film gets a good run due to the genuine love and support.
