An Indian man is roaming at large nearly a decade after he killed his wife in the US. While the agencies continue to find him, the FBI has finally taken steps to show some urgency in the case.
Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel, a 34-year-old Gujarat native, has been on the run since 2015, after brutally murdering his wife, Palak. His name is now among the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives with a reward of $250,000 (₹2 crore) to anyone who finds him.

Patel and his wife were working a late night shift at a Dunkin’ Donuts and had an argument in the backroom. As seen in the camera footage, the conflict escalated to the point Patel hit his wife several times with a heavy object, killing her.
Palak, just 21 at the time, was cruelly murdered by the person who had vowed to protect him in marriage. And even with incriminating evidence against him, the accused is roaming freely which is a disgrace for the authorities.

Moreover, it is insulting to the memory of the deceased Indian woman whose family still awaits justice. Let’s hope the FBI finally taking a step towards catching the culprit is a sign that they will treat this case with the importance it has been asking for in the last decade.
