A fourth season of the beloved Prime Video series ‘Panchayat’ is coming soon. And the platform has teased the new season with a video released recently. But people do not seem to like the way Panchayat is being promoted.
Several YouTubers and influencers like Darshan, Vijay Kumar, Bhupendra Jogi and Giaa Manek were seen collaborating with Jeetendra Kumar for the video.

But netizens say the collaboration dilutes the gravity of Panchayat and the makers should not involve the influencer for the promotion of a show like Panchayat.
Even people like Amitabh Bachchan and Anupam Mittal have collaborated with the Panchayat cast for various ads and videos and fans think this is a downgrade.

However it is very common for makers to collaborate with YouTubers and influencers to promote any recent work and we have seen big Bollywood movies go through this process as well.
And for a production house like TVF, it does not seem far-fetched that it will try to come together with people who are already ‘trending’ in public eyes to get a hype for the new season of the show. But listening to the fans, hopefully Prime Video and TVF will try some other ways to promote the show next time.
