Google Chrome will send you a notification for the latest price drop. Know how to use this new feature.
How many times do you revisit various e-commerce websites to know if your favourite item has received a price drop or not? You will not have to do it anymore soon! Instead, your Google Chrome browser will alert you by itself in case your favourite product gets a price drop. Google has officially announced that its Chrome browser will soon notify you about your favourite product receiving a price drop. That will certainly take the pain out of checking for discounts repeatedly for something that you want to buy.
“No need to refresh the page every day to see if that new TV’s on sale. You can now opt-in to receive an email or mobile notification from Chrome if there is a price drop,” Google informed via blog. The feature is already available in the US on desktops and Android devices starting from December 15. The new feature helps you track down the prices of all your favourite products. But how will it work? Will you be able to add particular products for the alert? Or, Google Chrome will notify you of the related items. Here are all the questions answered.
How to use Google Chrome to get a price drop alert
All you need to do next time when you shop, just select “track price” in the Chrome address bar. You can also manage the products you’re tracking through the side panel, or through the notifications you receive.
Apart from this, when you add items to your shopping cart, Google Chrome will find available discount codes from the retailer and automatically show them at checkout. Just ensure then you open the New Tab Page anytime you need to track down existing shopping carts to see available discounts there. You’ll also find similar options from other retailers and prices that will fit your budget. You’ll even be able to see if the item is in stock or backordered, Google informed.
