Why Is There No Reserve Day For India-England ?

A huge rain threat looms over the game as the weather in Guyana paints a worrying picture for both sides with 75% chance of rain during the game. It is worth remembering that while South Africa’s clash with either Australia, Bangladesh, or Afghanistan in Trinidad has a reserve day in place, India and England do not have their luxury, with the game set to start just 48 hours before the final and an extra day not being possible as there is just one day in between the semi-final and final. On the other hand, the first semi-final will place on Wendesday (July 26) giving teams the chance for a reserve day on Thursday.
