Disha Parmar and Rahul Vaidya, who tied the knot in July 2021, are all set to become parents. They announced the news on their social media accounts with a picture and a glimpse of the sonography report. Two weeks ago, when we spoke to Disha about their family plans, she had said, “I have left it to destiny. Whenever is meant to happen, it will.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Disha is gearing up for the third season of her TV show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3. Ask the actress about working through pregnancy and she says, “This is a finite show. The idea is to treat it like a web show, with a crisp and fast-paced storyline. So, I opted for it as it will work in my favour since I am pregnant. Taking up a new daily soap right now would not have been possible, but since this is a finite one, it suited me.”
An excited Rahul said, “I have always dreamt of being a father and giving a lot of love to my child. When I heard the news, it was unexpected, but I was extremely happy, and I am all set to become a papa soon. It is yet to hit me completely, but with congratulatory messages pouring in now, it is slowly sinking in.” The singer, who travels frequently for concerts, adds, “We are looking forward to this new phase in our lives. Since it was unexpected news, I feel the baby is God’s blessings. I was in Goa for work and when I came back to Mumbai, Disha shared the good news with me.”
