Former YCP Minister Jogi Ramesh has landed in legal trouble linked to the Agri Gold scam. Earlier today, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested Ramesh’s son, Jogi Rajeev, at his home in Ibrahimpatnam.
The ACB officials conducted a raid at Jogi Ramesh’s residence this morning as part of their ongoing investigation into the Agri Gold scam.

According to the ACB, Jogi Ramesh and his family members illegally grabbed half an acre of land that had been seized by the Crime Investigation Department (CID) from Agri Gold, a company that defaulted on deposits.
Reportedly, Rajeev and his uncle forged land documents and manipulated records to transfer the property into their names.

A case has been filed against eight individuals in connection with this issue. The CID’s case has also included sections under the ACB’s jurisdiction.
Jogi Rajeev has been named the A1 in the case, while Jogi Ramesh’s uncle, Venkateshwara Rao, has been named as the A2. The charges include IPC sections 420, 409, 467, 471, and 120(B).

Meanwhile, both Jogi Ramesh and his son Rajeev have accused the current Andhra Pradesh government of illegally arresting them. They claim that the government is trying to harass their family.
