Ex-NFL star Antonio Brown had an emphatic response for a fan who blamed the 49ers’ recent struggles on MAGA-supporting edge rusher Nick Bosa.
Since Bosa crashed a postgame interview in October by pointing to his ‘Make America Great Again’ hat, San Francisco has gone 1-3 – a fact that one X user pointed out after the team’s loss to the Bills on Sunday night.
But the Trump-loving Brown instead turned the focus to the results of the election on November 6.
‘And America is undefeated since then,’ he said.
Trump comfortably defeated Vice President Kamala Harris to return to office for the second time, as he beat the Democratic nominee in both the popular vote and electoral vote.
Brown, who last played for the Buccaneers in early 2022, has been public with his support of Trump as he appeared onstage alongside the 78-year-old at a recent rally in Pittsburgh.

He even told DailyMail.com that he would accept a job in Trump’s administration if he was offered one.
‘I’d be the man in the office,’ he said, when asked what sort of job he would like to do.
‘The House of Representatives or something.’
Bosa, meanwhile was fined for his MAGA stunt, which came after his team’s win over the Cowboys on October 27.
He was ultimately docked $11,255 for the move, as the league has a rule which prevents players from displaying messages ‘which relate to political activities or causes.’
Bosa has also been one of several NFL players to perform the ‘Trump dance’ as an in-game celebration.
He did so after sacking the Bucs’ Baker Mayfield last month, and the incoming Commander in Chief apparently noticed.
‘NICK BOSA IS A GREAT PLAYER,’ Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
Sunday’s 35-10 loss to the Bills – in which the 49ers also lost Christian McCaffrey to a potentially season-ending knee injury – knocked the team to 5-7 on the year as their playoff hopes get increasingly slim.
