An Indian techie on OPT took to social media to share his horrific experience of struggling to find a job for 40 days. The person is desperate as he completed his master’s with a massive debt of $50K at an interest rate of 12.5%.

He claims he had a solid job at Amazon India, earning ₹16 LPA before he moved to the US with AWS certification. But instead of a better life, he’s regretting his decision to leave a stable income.
People are now suggesting that he seek research roles or apply for volunteer work for a year. However, there is no certainty that the US immigration system will make it any easier for Indian techies in the future.
