    ET Rajasthan Business Summit charting course for state’s health transformation, ET HealthWorld


    New Delhi: From pioneering international trade in the medieval ages to combating the COVID crisis with its ‘Bhilwara model’ the state of Rajasthan has always been at the forefront of pulling the strings. However, due to several misadventures, the land of kings may have partially lost its glory but the melding royal heritage with entrepreneurial vigour brimming with resilience and innovation is again approaching the world and the revival of ancient trade routes are attempting to turn the state’s timeless grandeur into a vibrant force for modern growth and development.

    Given the mood of the market, the state is among the early adopters of modern sustainable practices both in policy and practice be it solar energy, critical minerals, prioritising healthcare, creating alternative capitals for economic activities, promoting cultural tourism shifting its workforce to labour-intensive sectors like textiles and manufacturing, Rajasthan fulfils all the required parameters even so achieving such heightened goals in the globalised world requires cooperation and collaboration from foreign players both from domestic and international markets along with the swiftness in pro-industry policies.

    Unravelling such innumerable opportunities by fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange and cultivating synergy among key policymakers, Industry experts and market leaders, the Economic Times is hosting the ‘Rajasthan Business Summit’ from September 5th-6th with its theme ‘Decoding Opportunities for the Next Decade’, to chart a course towards sustainable economic development and prosperity for Rajasthan.

    Building on it the summit will hold several dedicated sessions to explore the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the state’s healthcare business landscape over the next decade through comprehensive discussions and in-depth analysis of the evolving dynamics within Rajasthan’s healthcare ecosystem, aspiring to catalyse transformative change, ignite fresh ideas and forging partnerships that will drive the state’s growth trajectory in the years to come.

    The second day of the business summit will commence with a grand opening session, followed by a series of focused sessions on healthcare and related business opportunities beginning with a panel discussion on ‘Reimagining Pharma and Healthcare: Innovations, Challenges, and Future Directions. The panellists will include Dr Manashvi Kumar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India; Neha Giri, Managing Director, Rajasthan Medical Services Corporation Ltd, Government of Rajasthan; K Raja Bhanu, Director General, Pharmexcil; Dr Deepak Maheshwari, Principal & Head, SMS Medical College & Hospital; and Dr Goverdhan Dutt Puri, Executive Director, AIIMS Jodhpur. The session with be moderated by Prathiba Raju, Senior Assitant Editor, ETHealthworld. Following the panel discussion on Reimagining Pharma and Healthcare: Innovations, Challenges, and Future Directions, there will be another panel discussion on ‘Ensuring Health Assurance for All: Strategies to Achieve Universal Healthcare Coverage by Public Private Partnership’. The speakers for the session include Dr Rakesh Shah, Cluster Head, Shalby Hospitals; Sandhya Sriram, Group CFO, Narayana Health; and the session will be moderated by Dr Harsh Mahajan, Founder & Chief Radiologist, Mahajan Imaging & Labs.

    The summit will further proceed with a discussion on ‘Digital Health Interventions and Lasting Impact at the Grassroots Level: Challenges and Opportunities’, featuring Dr Sarvesh Agarwal, CEO & Vice President, Rajasthan Hospital.

    The healthcare segment will conclude with a fireside chat on ‘Unleashing Rajasthan’s Healthcare Potential: Sectoral Insights and Opportunities’ between Shubhra Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Medical, Health, Family Welfare & Panchayati Raj, Medical Education, Government of Rajasthan and Prathiba Raju.
