Erling Haaland throws the ball at Gabriel’s HEAD after John Stones’ 98th-minute equaliser as tempers boil over between players and staff from Man City and Arsenal at full-time of thrilling 2-2 draw

Erling Haaland found himself in the middle of a touchline spat with Arsenal coaching staff and officials, after appearing to throw the ball at the back of Gabriel’s head.

City were celebrating John Stones‘ last-gasp equaliser, as the Blues trailed Arsenal 2-1 at home until the eighth minute of stoppage time.

In the immediate aftermath of the goal, Haaland can be seen picking the ball up and throwing it directly at Arsenal defender Gabriel’s head, who had his back to the City striker.

Whether the throw was intentional or not, it lit the touch paper between the two players on the whistle, with both sets of players and coaching staff getting involved.
