England fell to a shock defeat against Greece in the Nations League at Wembley on Thursday.

Cole Palmer had the Three Lions’ best chance in the first half but skied his effort from close range after being set up by Jude Bellingham.

Evangelos Pavlidis scored what had looked to be the only goal of the game, while Greece also had two goals ruled out for offside and Levi Colwill cleared an effort off the line in the first half.

Bellingham, however, scored an equaliser minutes from time to spare Carsley’s blushes. But that was short-lived, with Pavlidis netting a dramatic stoppage time winner.

Full report to follow.
