Elon Musk donated over 0 Million to support Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign: Report

Tech billionaire Elon Musk donated significant funds to support Donald Trump’s successful 2024 presidential campaign, according to recent Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO contributed a total of $238 million to America PAC, a super PAC he established this year to boost voter turnout for Trump in key states.
Musk’s financial support extended beyond America PAC. According to reports, Musk donated $20.5 million to RBG PAC on October 24. This group ran advertisements aiming to connect Trump’s abortion stance with that of the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Ginsburg’s granddaughter, Clara Spera, criticised the ads: “misleading and an ‘affront’ to Ginsburg’s legacy as a staunch defender of abortion rights.”
Additionally, Musk gave $3 million to the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Alliance, another super PAC. This group encouraged supporters of Robert F Kennedy Jr, who endorsed Trump, to vote for the former president.
Musk’s disclosed political spending, according to FEC, for Trump’s campaign reached at least $261.5 million. These figures, revealed in post-election filings, position him as a major financial backer of the campaign.
Musk is now involved in Trump’s transition team, working alongside Vivek Ramaswamy to lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), focused on reducing government spending. Musk was seen on Capitol Hill Thursday, discussing potential spending cuts with lawmakers.
