All three resigned MPs are from the YSR Congress Party and now, it is evident these three seats will be won by the TDP. In the Assembly elections, the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance won 164 out of 175 seats while YCP won only 11.
To win a Rajya Sabha seat, a contestant must get support from at least 25 MLAs. That will be impossible for YCP which has only 11 MLAs. Thus, it lost the opportunity to contest as well.

Now, it has to be seen if TDP secures those three seats or will those seats be distributed between all three parties of the ND alliance.
YCP’s Rajya Sabha strength was 11 which it gained since 2019, after coming into power. On the other hand, TDP has none. Now, YCP’s strength decreased to eight and TDP or its ally parties may secure the rest of the three seats.
