Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Daaku Maharaaj, released for Sankranti is performing well in the Telugu states but has considerably slowed down in the U.S. after its initial momentum. Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela played a role in the film’s, and her song with Balakrishna has become the talk of the town.
Recently, when a Bollywood reporter asked the actress about the incident involving Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan being stabbed at his house, her response went viral on social media for being considered the “dumbest” possible.

She initially called the incident unfortunate but quickly shifted to talking about Daaku Maharaaj’s collections. She claimed the film had earned more than ₹100 crores, mentioning that her mother gifted her a diamond watch and her father gave her another expensive present in celebration.
She also expressed concerns about safety, awkwardly transitioning from discussing Saif’s unfortunate incident to boasting about her gifts and personal safety worries. Her disjointed response, flaunting her expensive items on camera, made her a target for trolls. The abrupt shift from addressing a serious topic to self-promotion came across as odd and drew criticism for its tone-deafness. Watch below:
