Recently released Malayalam movies such as Unni Mukundan’s Marco and Asif Ali’s Rekhachithram ended up as blockbuster successes in their theatrical run.
Now, according to reports, the OTT streaming rights for both these movies were acquired by the Sony LIV OTT platform.

The Marco movie has done wonders in the box office collections, and as per reports, Sony LIV has bagged the streaming rights of the Marco movie for a whopping price; also, it’s said to be the highest-ever OTT deal for a Malayalam movie.
On the other hand, Asif Ali’s Rekhachithram movie was also a tremendous success in its theatrical run, and many people were waiting to watch the movie after its OTT release.

Asi Ali’s last release, which was Kishkindha Kaandam, became a sensation after its OTT release, and let us see whether a similar kind of magic also happens for the Rekhachithram movie.
Looks like Sony LIV has secured two worthy deals for which many people were eager for its OTT release, and the streaming date for both movies has still not been announced.
