US President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday refused to extend Christmas greetings to 37 federal death-row inmates granted clemency by President Joe Biden, saying, “go to hell.” He criticized Biden, saying the president has “no idea” what he is doing.
Trump wished ‘Merry Christmas’ on his ‘Truth Social’ platform, followed by a series of political attacks. In one of the posts, Trump directed the inmates granted clemency by Biden to “go to hell.”
Biden ‘has no idea’
Trump accused the “Radical Left Lunatics” of constantly trying to obstruct the court system and elections, as well as targeting the citizens and patriots of the nation.
“Merry Christmas to the Radical Left Lunatics, who are constantly trying to obstruct our Court System and our Elections, and are always going after the Great Citizens and Patriots of the United States but, in particular, their Political Opponent, ME,” Trump said in his post.
“They know that their only chance of survival is getting pardons from a man who has absolutely no idea what he is doing,” he added, referring to Biden.

Trump slams clemency for ‘most violent criminals’
Referring to Biden as ‘Sleepy,’ Trump criticized him for pardoning the “37 most violent criminals.”
“Also, to the 37 most violent criminals, who killed, raped, and plundered like virtually no one before them, but were just given, incredibly, a pardon by Sleepy Joe Biden. I refuse to wish a Merry Christmas to those lucky ‘souls’ but, instead, will say, GO TO HELL!” the president-elect wrote.

Message of hope amid criticism
Trump also shared a message of making ‘America great again’ ahead of his inauguration on January 20.
“We had the Greatest Election in the History of our Country, a bright light is now shining over the U.S.A. and, in 26 days, we will, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. MERRY CHRISTMAS!” he added.

Biden commutes sentences of 37
Biden commuted the sentences of 37 of the 40 men on federal death row on Monday. The White House stated the commutations, reducing the sentences to life in prison without parole, were part of Biden’s effort to ensure a fair justice system. The inmates include individuals convicted of crimes, including murder and child murder.
