Disha Patani who has been a part of films like Kalki 2898 AD and Kanguva in recent times seems to be following a similar path where she doesn’t have roles more than 5 minutes.
In Kalki, her role doesn’t extend beyond introducing Prabhas to the complex followed by a 3-minute romantic hot song.

After the song, she goes completely missing from the film.
Kanguva also follows the same pattern — she appears, has a glamorous song, and then disappears without much importance to the story.

Interestingly, in both films, Disha plays the girlfriend of a bounty hunter, but her character doesn’t leave much of an impression aside from her generous skin show.
A pirated clip from Kanguva, showing Disha in a bikini, has gone viral on social media.
Despite this, Disha is reportedly earning 6 crores for Kalki and 8 crores for Kanguva.
While these figures are impressive, if she continues to rely on glamour roles, she will fade away from the industry quickly.
Disha needs to focus on selecting better roles for a long-lasting career. The issue is that she doesn’t have the talent to carry a performance-oriented role.
The audience doesn’t take her seriously as a lead actress, and filmmakers know that a few shots of her exposing her hot body would go viral on social media and some buzz will be created. Their purpose of casting her in the film is served.
