Scheduled for release on September 5, the film stars Thalapathy Vijay and has generated significant buzz among fans.
To build anticipation, the makers have unveiled a star-studded poster that includes both young and older versions of Vijay’s character, along with a roster of notable but less active actors such as Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Sneha, Laila, Ajmal, and Vaibhav.

However, the response from fans has been mixed. While the idea of seeing forgotten actors on screen is appealing to some, the sheer number of them in GOAT has raised concerns about the film appearing outdated. Many have pointed out that featuring so many veteran actors might overshadow the film’s modern appeal.
One fan bluntly commented, “Too much scrap in one poster,” reflecting the sentiment that too many older faces could be a distraction rather than a nostalgic delight.
