These are difficult & different times for Dil Raju. The Government nominated him as the Film Development Corporation Chairman. But the timing is so bad that it came when the ties became sour between the Government and the industry.
Today he led a contingent of the industry people to the Chief Minister to resolve the issue. But the meeting did not yield the desired outcome.

Benefit Shows and Ticket Prices Hike – the most important objective of this meeting did not come for discussion. While the meeting is happening, there were leaks in the media that the Government is not interested in giving Benefit Shows and Ticket Prices Hike permission.
All the three films releasing for Sankranthi are Dil Raju‘s. Two are his own production and one is his distribution. So he should be very worried.

Dil Raju also got embarassed with the fact that the CM made the entire contingent wait for one hour before the meeting. But he can not exhibit the disappointment as the FDC Chairman.
After the meeting, Dil Raju spoke to the media and said Sankranti movies (benefit shows and Prices Hike) are very small before the challenge given to them.

The challenge is about making Hyderabad an international Film destination. Even though Dil Raju said it is a big challenge assigned by the CM, we are know these are eyewash statements and discussions.
He will be a worried man about the prospects of Sankranti releases and will have to continue the lobbying.
