Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sparked speculation about his relationship with Donald Trump during his recent trip to the U.S. The former US President had announced he would meet Modi during his visit to the country but it seems it was never on the cards.
This might be because Trump painted India in a bad light calling it a “big abuser” of trade relations days before the PM’s US visit. He didn’t explain in detail what he meant leaving many people upset.

After the PA rally shooting in July, Modi showed concern for his old friend via X. However, after the second assassination attempt was made there was no response from the Prime Minister adding more fuel to these speculations.
