Dhanush’s third directorial venture, Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK), starring Pavish and Anikha Surendran in the lead roles, was released in theatres on February 21st and completed its theatrical run with an average status.
Now, the movie has been streaming on Amazon Prime Video since yesterday, and those who missed it in theatres are now watching it on OTT and sharing their responses.

Many social media users, after watching NEEK, have commented that Dhanush should focus only on acting, as the film is below average. They also pointed out that, except for Mathew Thomas, none of the actors performed well.
While some viewers felt that Pavish and a few other actors delivered acceptable performances to some extent, they found Anikha’s acting completely intolerable, calling it artificial.

At the same time, a section of the audience shared positive responses, stating that NEEK is a passable entertainer. As the trailer suggested, it is a typical love story with a decent screenplay.
However, these are just early reviews. As viewership picks up, it remains to be seen how the audience will receive the film and whether NEEK will find success on OTT.
