The Dhanush vs. Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan controversy has been the talk of the town till last week, after Nayanthara shared an open letter against Dhanush, criticizing his character for not giving NOC to use Naanum Rowdy Dhan footage in her wedding documentary.
In this scenario, for the past few days there hasn’t been any talk about this controversy, and now all of a sudden, Dhanush has filed a case in the Madras High Court against Nayanthara for using Naanum Rowdy Dhan movie footage without his permission.

In the open letter itself, Nayanthara mentioned that Dhanush has already sent a legal notice to them demanding 10 crores for using Naanum Rowdy Dhan’s movie footage for just 3 seconds in the Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale documentary trailer.
But, when the documentary was released on November 18th on the Netflix OTT platform, it shocked everyone as almost 1 minute of Naanum Rowdy Dhan montages was used in the documentary series without acquiring NOC from Dhanush.

Now, after 10 days, after the documentary got released, Dhanush has filed a complaint against Nayanthara; this has shocked the Kollywood audiences.
For this, people on social media were reacting that Nayanthara, without dealing with it legally, had criticized Dhanush’s character in public in the name of an open letter, and now Dhanush is hitting back against Nayanthara by filing a case against her and taking revenge.
