NTR’s Devara is off to a super flying start in the U.S., with premieres starting on Thursday and day one (Friday) collecting a substantial $3,770,261.
While the Telugu version is obviously the major contributor, the Hindi version had a decent performance, where expectations were almost nil. The Hindi version pulled in $92,107, while the Tamil version performed poorly at $5,904.

Canada contributed $294,887 to the overall premiere and day one figures.
The combined figure of $3,770,261 for the premiere and day one is excellent for NTR, showcasing his growing stardom post-RRR, and these massive numbers are a first for the star.

Saturday (today) morning also started off well for Devara; at 9 AM EST, the hourly gross is at $211,575, indicating another strong day at the box office.
So far, the trend looks promising and is on track to break even for the U.S. distributor by tomorrow.
