Devara: Part 1 has faced noticeable drops in collections on its first Monday at the Hindi Box Office. Starring Jr. NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, the film collected a total of ₹4 Crores.

According to Bollywood trade websites, there was a significant drop of around 50% after a commendable weekend opening of ₹27 Cr.
This has led to the film inching closer to the 31 Cr. mark at the Hindi box office. The Monday hold is decent but not great.

While mixed word of mouth from the public is certainly playing a detrimental role in these drops seen in Devara’s collection, the action-entertainment of the film and the stardom of Jr. NTR are dragging the mass audience into the theatres.
The film is performing much better on single screens than big multiplexes, further proving the point that the masses are enjoying the film due to the screen presence of Jr. NTR.

The upcoming Gandhi Jayanti holiday would prove to be a key day for Devara: Part 1, as the film will look for a boost in the collection, thanks to the nationwide day off. It would be very interesting to see if the film would be able to compete with approaching Dussehra releases as well.
The film is currently inching towards an expected lifetime business of ₹55-60 crore at the Hindi Box Office if trade reports are anything to go by.
